Calcined alumina powder is made from industrial aluminum hydroxide or industrial aluminum oxide as raw materials, and is calcined at an appropriate temperature to form a crystal stable alpha alumina product; Aluminum oxide micro powder made from calcined alpha alumina as raw material and ball milled. Calcined alumina powder is generally used in shaped refractory products such as skateboards, three major components, and corundum bricks, or in combination with activated alumina for amorphous refractory materials.
When using calcined alumina powder to produce resin bonded products, its moisture content is low, easy to stir evenly, and its volume stability is high. When used in combination with activated alumina micro powder or silica fume for amorphous refractory materials, it can achieve the closest particle size distribution with finer micro powder, reduce water addition and porosity, decrease linear change rate, and increase strength.
